The Graduate College of Mind-Body Medicine’s ground-breaking programs encourage students to help their own patients, clients, and students to be active participants in their own health and to understand that everyone has the capacity for self-healing. They offer students a variety of options to select the path that best meets their professional and career needs. The curriculum includes experiential and didactic training in mind-body medicine and nutrition as well as coursework which explores the fields of integrative and complementary and alternative medicine.
Admissions Criteria for Degree Applicants
- Submission of the online application.
- Application fee (see Tuition and Fees below).
- Academic writing sample.
- Personal statement. Applicants should incorporate in their personal essay information about their background and intention in Mind-Body Medicine.
- Official (sealed) transcripts from all previously attended post-secondary institutions. All master’s applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited institution. All PhD applicants must have bachelors and master’s degrees from regionally-accredited institutions.The minimum expected grade point average (GPA) requirement is 3.0 from the last degree-granting institution, though exceptions may be made with the approval of the Director of Admissions and/or an Associate Vice President.
- Two letters of recommendation. One letter should be an academic reference.
